Intra Uterine Insemination implies the deposition of washed husband's sperm into the uterine cavity. This is a useful modality for patients with low sperm counts or poor sperm motility or those with low seminal volume. The advantage of our centre is that all facitilities such as TVS ultrasound monitoring of the follicles, blood tests, hormone injections, semen wash by layering and percoll gradients and the Intrauterine procedure are all done under one roof thereby ensuring top quality results at all times. IUI is also advocated for some cases of unexplained infertility, endometriosis and PCOS. Our centre maintains a 10 - 12 % pregnancy rate per IUI cycle which is on par with the best centres in the world.
